This tour departs Rome headed for its outskirts. The tour will pass the ancient Baths of Caracalla, a public baths and recreational area built on 33 acres in the 3rd century. The tour continues along the Ancient Appian Way, where you will pass the Church of Domine Quo Vadis, a small church where Jesus met with Saint Peter when Peter was fleeing persecution in Rome. The church features Jesus's preserved footprints.

As the tour reaches the areas of Castel Gandolfo and Frascati, large countryside estates can be viewed. The Pope's summer residence is located in Castel Gandolfo. Frascati, which is both the name of the village and Rome's most popular wine brand, is popular with visitors for its beauty and considerable wine production. The tour will stop in Frascati for a wine tasting and to allow you to absorb the small village culture. The Frascati wine brand has been in production for over 2,000 years.

There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
