Begin at Piazza Venezia, bursting with awe-inspiring buildings and statues. You'll then continue to the breathtaking Capitol Square, born of Michelangelo's architectural genius. From here, you can soak up splendid views over the Colosseum and the ruins of the Forum, where commerce, religion, and politics flourished at the height of Roman power.

The Forum's remaining arches, including the Arch of Titus, give an idea of the sheer scale of the buildings that once presided over the city. You will also pass the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, born of the Egyption craze that swept Rome, and the remains of the Circus Maximus, where spectators crammed in to watch popular chariot races.

Finish your tour with a visit to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, whose origins go back to the time of Constantine.

Summary: Tour includes hotel or train pick-up or drop-off. Rates are in US Dollars. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-208-4421. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

To enter the Colosseum, entrance tickets are required. You may pre-purchase your entrance tickets by choosing the Add-On for those tickets. Doing so will allow you to maximize your tour time by skipping the ticket lines at the Colosseum. The entrance tickets are priced PER-PERSON.

Dress Code:

~ Please be aware that there are monitors outside St. Peter's, which has a very strict dress code: no skirts above the knee, no shorts, no bare shoulders (i.e., tank tops or sleeveless blouses), and you must wear shoes. You will not be permitted inside the Basilica unless you are dressed appropriately. Slacks and jeans, however, are permitted. Appropriate Dress is a MUST! People who monitor visitors in churches have the right to refuse entrance if in their opinion the visitor is dressed in an inappropriate fashion to enter.
