This Private Pre-Cruise Tour of Rome has been designed especially for guests who arrive by plane or train and wish to tour the Eternal City before embarking on a cruise.

The tour includes meet and greet upon arrival at the airport, train station or hotel, plus luggage handling, a tour of the city, and transportation to Civitavecchia Pier for embarkation. The length of the tour is flexible and depends on how much time you have at your disposal.

You have the option of purchasing tickets to the Colosseum as an Add-On.

Summary: Tour includes hotel, airport, ship or train pick-up or drop-off. Rates are in US Dollars. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-208-4421. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

We offer a standard tour of 4 hours after pick up at the airport, train station or hotel. Your itinerary is totally flexible and customizable. You can shop at designer stores, eat lunch at a sidewalk café, or explore the streets of Rome at your leisure (but remember - most shops are closed on Sunday and Monday mornings and are closed daily from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for the traditional siesta). You can have a list of sights to see and give to your driver or you can leave it to his discretion, knowing that he will maximize your visiting time.

Add-On Tickets:

If you would like to visit the Colosseum on your tour, entry tickets to the Colosseum will be required. You may purchase the Add-On for those tickets to avoid waiting in ticket lines at the Colosseum.

English-speaking drivers are all very experienced and accustomed to hosting foreign tourists. They are extremely familiar with the sights you will want to visit.

Dress Code:

~ Appropriate Dress is a MUST! Please be aware that there are monitors outside St. Peter's, which has a very strict dress code: no skirts above the knee, no shorts, no bare shoulders (i.e., tank tops or sleeveless blouses), and you must wear shoes. Slacks and jeans, however, are permitted. You will not be permitted inside the Basilica unless you are dressed appropriately. People who monitor visitors in churches have the right to refuse entrance if in their opinion the visitor is dressed in an inappropriate fashion to enter.
